Happy New Year and Happy Flavorful Friday! One of the New Year’s Resolutions I’ve made for 2016 is to be more consistent with menu planning. Consistency does not come to me naturally. so in order to accomplish this I’ve enlisted a super-organized friend who loves menu planning to help me. (Asking for and accepting help is also something I’m going to be working on in 2016! If we are able to adopt 4 children this year, I’ll be needing help with that transition!)
I’m also going to need to get better at menu planning if we adopt. Our host children from an Eastern European orphanage are visiting for one month right now…. and they eat constantly! Check out this young man. He is saying, “Oh Mama, I’m so hungry! Please feed me!” (See him rubbing his very hungry belly?) And I am saying, “Oh you poor thing. It’s been so long since your last meal. That sandwich you ate was…. still in your mouth!”
